How a visit works

No guesswork, from first message to final check

Every job follows the same steady path, so you always know what's next.

  1. Tell us what's wrong

Send a short description and, if it helps, when the problem started. We'll reply to arrange a suitable time.

  2. We find the cause

On arrival we protect the area, inspect the problem and explain what we see, not just the symptom.

  3. You approve the plan

You get the options and the scope of work up front. Nothing starts until you're comfortable.

  4. Fix, test and tidy

We complete the work, test it with you and clear up, then walk you through anything to keep an eye on.

Urgent help

Water where it shouldn't be?

Stay calm. These first steps limit damage while you get help. Then send us a request marked urgent.

  • Turn off the water

Find your main stopcock, often under the kitchen sink, and turn it clockwise until it stops.

  • Keep power safe

If water is near sockets or light fittings, switch off electricity at the consumer unit if it's safe to reach.

  • Contain and move

Catch drips with a bucket or towels and move valuables and rugs out of the way.

  • Take a quick photo

A picture of the leak and any visible pipework helps us bring the right parts first time.

Our standards

How we treat your home

Good plumbing is about more than a dry pipe. These habits come with every visit.

One

Scope before spanners

You'll know what we're doing and why before a single fitting comes off, so there are no surprises.

Two

Protected, tidy spaces

Floor covers down, work area contained, and old parts and packaging taken away when we leave.

Three

Plain-language answers

No jargon. We show you what we found and what to watch for, so you feel confident about your system.

Questions

Good to know before we visit

How is the cost worked out?

Every home is different, so we confirm the scope of work with you after inspecting the problem. You approve it before anything starts, and we tell you before doing anything extra.

How soon can you come out?

Send a request with a short description and your preferred timing. Requests marked urgent are prioritised, and we'll reply to agree a time that works.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Just clear access to the area, such as the cupboard under the sink or the space around the water heater. Photos in your request help us bring the right parts.

Do you supply the parts?

Yes, we bring common fittings and source anything specific. If you've already chosen taps or fixtures, we're happy to fit those too.

A few details are all we need. We'll reply to arrange a time and ask anything else.

  • We read every request and reply personally.

  • Scope agreed on site before any work begins.

  • Mark it urgent and we'll prioritise it.

We only use these details to reply to your request.
